A humorous game to play on an arcade emulator preferably (I advise you to reduce the paddle sensitivity in the options menu: "tab key" > Analog Controls > Dial Sensitivity).
You're a cop and must apprehend criminals by bumping into them, sirens wailing. At the end of the mission, your terrifying boss will debrief you. You'd better reach your quotas. . . . The various animated scenes and sound effects are hilarious!
Too bad the high level of difficulty and hazardous handling (it feels like you're controling a piece of soap) get us tired very quickly. The Amiga version is but a pale imitation.
Another APB was released in 2010, in 3D and multiplayer. Nothing to do with thisone, obviously, but I played it for a while and that's why I got interested in the arcade namesake.
