It's by these words, articulated by a voice synthesizer that the stage is set. You are Jerome Lange. You just received a letter from your childhood friend, Julia. Very sick, she's asking you to come and investigate in her manor. As soon as you got there, Max, the servant, tells you that Julia is dead.
