There are some games that instantly glue yourself to your chair and make you want to play them all night. They may have the age of your grandmother, or be so hard that you're just repeating the first level over and over, whatever. It's almost magical. You'd think they put additives in it or subliminal messages, I don't know. . . .
The New Zealand Story clearly forms a part of this category. At first glance, a corny arcade game, packed with bizarre critters, and I caught myself getting a kick out of it!
Although extremely difficult, it is nevertheless quick, easy to handle and . . . full of multicolored stuff! That's all we want!
At the risk of repeating myself: prefer the original version (arcade) over the conversion.
And it's not a chicken, it's a kiwi!
