An excellent shooter, albeit not greatly original but very enjoyable (and very difficult) that includes a two-player mode in alternated.
Initially, you will have to choose among three ships with complementary characteristics (faster but less well armed, versatile or heavily armed but slow). On the bottom of the screen you will see improvements and weapons available (from the lowest to the most powerful) to be exchanged against a number of bonuses.
The following year they released a version a little more accessible (read: finishable without cheating) and titled Project X Special Edition. Then came X2, on Playstation (still in 2D) also well made.
