Here is the conversion of a childish arcade game (Taito, 1987), à la Bubble Bobble (also considered is sequel until the release of Bubble Bobble 2 much later). You control a small boy who can throw rainbows in the sky and must reach the top of stages populated by nasty critters (one level is a nod to Arkanoid) before being overtaken by the rising waters. The rainbow is both a formidable weapon and a means to reach high areas. In 1990 comes Parasol Stars, the third episode which is again totally different.
