Here's SWIV, the splendid sequel to Silkworm ! We still have the choice between flying a helicopter or driving a jeep but the scrolling is now vertical, hence the endless controversy surrounding the meaning of the title: "SilkWorm 4" in roman numerals for one (I've never seen SW3 nor 2), "SilkWorm In Vertical" for others or the pompous "Special Weapon Interdiction Vehicles", as stated on Amiga Chapter.One.
Anyway, the graphics are much improved. The game spreads itself over one gigantic level without any loading time. Great sound effects compensate for the lack of music. However, as for the first episode, I find the weapons rather uninspired.
A free PC remake exists: SWIV Decimation.
