In the future, we call Speedball the latest fashionable sport. It is a kind of hyper-violent handball whith not so many rules. You even gain points if you manage to knock-out an opponent! You start the championship with a bunch of pussies, your job is to turn them into badasses to get the title.
Between games, you can manage your team, train your players or recruit stars. There is a "manager mode" where you will intervene only in this way (during the games your team will be controlled by the computer).
