For many Kick Off is a revolution in the playability field: the controls are very simple (only 1 button to dribble, pass, shoot, tackle or header) and especially the ball doesn't "stick" to the player's feet unlike most football games. Kick Off demands a lot of training before one can hope to control the ball, that's why I am unable to keep the ball more than five seconds . . .
Note that this is not very common for a football game to be seen from above and to display the field in the vertical direction.
