Wily, forgiven, is helping to build a peaceful robot named Gamma. Only problem, 8 robots stole parts of it so Mega Man, accompanied by his robotic dog Rush, is sent to retrieve them. He will then have to destroy again some of Wily's old robots (from MM2) because, figure, Wily betrayed them once again!
Later, everything will be back in order, Mega Man will even meet with his missing brother: Proto Man (aka Blues), and obviously, Wily will escape (you'll have to get used to that).

To many, Mega Man 3 is the best game of the series (its low level of difficulty appeals to a wider audience). Rush and Proto Man make their appearance, Mega Man can slide though he cannot charge his buster yet.

Suggested order:
Top Man > Shadow Man > Spark Man > Magnet Man > Hard Man > Snake Man > Gemini Man > Needle Man
