Your mission is to free a princess held by an evil vizier. You start in the jails of the palace, unarmed. . . but a few stuntings will help you move forward.

Prince of Persia revolutionized the platformer genre with its maneuverability. With a stupid joystick and one button, you can walk, run, jump, grab the edges, fight with a sword. . . all that with no difficulty and great precision. The character animation is outstanding, such a result was obtained by filming a real actor and reproducing the images one by one.
This innovative game opened the way to Flashback and Tomb Raider, among others.
