Hi folks! You wanna know what's going on?
Dazeland is a personal site devoted to video games, online since June 2000.
At a time when everyone made our heads spin with the latest trendy titles, ever more advanced, more and more beautiful, such as Diablo 2 and consort, myself, I wanted to talk about games I grew up with. Obsolete games, completely forgotten, technically out of date but sometimes superior to today's bestsellers in terms of fun and creativity.
I mostly played with these old treasures on an Amiga.
Of course, the machine has long since passed away but there are always fruitcakes on the internet who bring back its game library, thanks to "emulators", softwares that simulate old consoles, or here an old computer, to replay them again on our brawny 3rd millennium computers. . . .
Thus, I could dig up some of my old lost games. Browse the galleries to immerse you in all the atmosphere of that time, or give your children a good laugh!
Alongside my mausoleum for the Amiga, I had a big crush for a console game series: Mega Man. I focused on the saga origins. Sequels keep coming from time to time but I find it rather hard to get interested in them, no "nostalgia factor" nor the time to play with all these new consoles. . . .
