The originality of this one, apart from its title (a pun that escapes me?), is the small size of the caves, reduced to approximately one screen. It begins with a tutorial of 20 levels that gives a false impression of being a walk in the park, and serves as an introduction to the additional elements that I associate with the Ruppleware group: remote-controlled balloons, object generators, two-coloured keys, etc. I encountered these innovations for the first time in Forgotten Mine, but I don’t know which title was the first to use them. Does anyone know?

The levels become more complex afterwards. It’s quite rare to see a gently ascending difficulty curve in this type of game. However, I don’t like certain graphics (what they’ve done with the yams and aliens), and as you can see in the photos, it’s very grey. Otherwise, the more advanced levels are interesting, although too short for my taste. (Note for later: try Profi Boulderdash 2 which served as inspiration.)

… Oh, with the exception of level 76. Its author deserves tar and feathers!
