The first episode of the Lotus trilogy. A well-presented racing game that’s easy to handle, but not particularly concerned with realism. Here, there’s no interruption when you crash—your car will slow down a bit (or a lot), but it won’t suffer any damage. However, even the smallest bump or puddle will cost you precious seconds, while your competitors will glide right through. And don’t forget to keep an eye on the fuel gauge, as some tracks will require pit stops.
Great for two players, but a bit less fun on your own due to the lack of a “full screen” mode (the screen stays split in two, even when playing solo, a mistake that will be fixed in the second episode).
