The third entry in Digital Illusions’ pinball trilogy. Not being a hardcore pinball fan myself, I wouldn’t be able to compare them from a technical standpoint. That said, since this is the latest release and was developed for AGA chips, it’s clearly a step up visually. You’ll enjoy some nice lighting effects, a crazy multiball mode, a “high-resolution” display that shows almost the entire table on screen, and, as usual, a flawless soundtrack.
This time, only three themes are featured: the police of the future (Law and Justice), surfing and pretty girls (Babewatch), and extreme sports (Extreme Sports).
You’ll find this game on PC, as well as on Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation, under the title: True Pinball. In these three versions, a fourth table is available (Vikings).
