A well-known Sega Genesis game, surprisingly well adapted for the Amiga (only the music wasn’t carried over). It’s a simple motorcycle race where anything goes, especially kicks and punches…
You earn money based on your ranking, which you can use to buy new bikes later on.
I quite like the unique touches, such as the bumpy road, the intersections, the oncoming cars, and the cows napping in the middle of the road…
On the other hand, the more critical folks will point out the lack of fluidity in the animation and the somewhat lengthy loading times.
Several sequels were released on Sega Genesis, 3DO, PlayStation, and Nintendo 64 throughout the ’90s. A “modernized” (ultra-violent) version followed in 2019: Road? Redemption.
