An adaptation of a little-known Apple II game called Airheart (1986).

The story takes place on a planet entirely covered by an ocean. You pilot some sort of flying saucer that hovers above the water’s surface and can dive when the mood strikes you, in order to avoid enemies. Your mission is to rescue a stranded baby, kidnapped by a group of sea goblins. Attack their floating homes, capture them, throw them in a sack, and then trade them with the queen of the goblins for one of the items requested by two … local … spirits. Oh, that kind, right?

The game shines more for its atmosphere and animation quality than for its fairly basic mechanics. Also, it tends to stutter quite a bit starting from the third level (out of five in total).

Press “F2” during gameplay to display the list of controls.
