A personal favourite! I had already mentioned IFA on this page, so it was through an order placed with them that I discovered this semi-amateur game (programmed in Amos Professional). Unfortunately, it was only a playable demo. I remember writing to the developer to buy the final version, but he never replied.
Since then, I’ve scoured the web in search of the complete game, but to no avail. Perhaps it was never finished? I’m taking this opportunity to make a call to all the experts!

Weapon Masters is the closest thing on the Amiga to the sword games I love so much (see Bushido Blade). Here, no samurai. The atmosphere is more reminiscent of the film Highlander, with its rugged seaside landscapes and the lightning that strikes the defeated fighter to make their opponent stronger (I suppose).

The full version would offer a choice of four weapons (sword, axe, staff, or club). Although limited, the range of moves allows for the dodges and parries that set it apart from a typical fighting game. I don’t understand why this genre has been so underrepresented since Barbarian.

Sadly, the demo version is limited to the first two fights, with only two weapons (sword and club) and a single player.
