Pronounce “Cross-out”. This underwater shoot’em up lets you build your own ship at the start of the game, within the limits of your budget. Then, after each level, You’ll return to the garage to spend the credits you’ve earned by taking down aliens.
Change ammunition, treat yourself to a torpedo launcher, place a small defensive satellite where needed; but don’t forget to save some cash for extra lives!

Here’s an original custom weapon system, but it’s unnecessarily complex to use (“Amiga” key, space bar, holding down the fire button … why not have it all on one command?). I also regret the lack of differential scrolling in the scenery, which was present in the Commodore 64 version. In fact, midway through the game, they didn’t even bother with a static background texture anymore; just a black or brown screen. And finally, the loading times seem pretty long.

On an emulator, avoid the “t +5 Brainstorm - Headwave” version, as several levels are missing. The “t +1 PNA” version works fine.

The music for level 5 comes from Turrican.

In 2015, a somewhat comparable title was released on PC: Psycho Starship Rampage.
