Xenon 2 is far more famous than its predecessor. Its lifespan has been significantly extended, the scenery is more detailed, and the music, taken from the pop track Megablast (by the band Bomb the Bass, 1988), has become iconic…
Yet, despite the attractive packaging, the game turns out to be monotonous. Though iconic, the looping music will have your ears ringing within five minutes. And playing a shoot’em up already lacking in speed, with the sound off… Well, it’s hardly the cure for a bus stop!

Between levels, you can do some shopping with an arms dealer (a cousin of Predator). This feature will be replicated in Gods (by the same developers).
