Dr. Wily has stolen a time machine, and Mega Man sets off in hot pursuit.
Don’t bother looking for a deep storyline here—the plot is summed up in ten lines in the manual, and that’s about it.
Mega Man now knows how to slide and gets help from Rush in three forms: Coil for higher jumps, Jet for flying, and Marine for underwater travel (just like on the NES). The new boss is called Quint, and he’s armed with a jackhammer (Sakugarne)!
