The story takes place six months after Mega Man 5 (NES). While taking a stroll with Roll, Rock was suddenly attacked (and defeated!) by an alien robot named Terra, leader of the Stardroids

Fortunately, the good Doctor Light repaired Mega Man and gave him a new weapon, more powerful than his mega-buster: the mega-arm, as well as a new four-legged companion: the robot cat, Tango.

In this entirely new episode, Mega Man faces eight robot masters named after planets, plus Terra, Enker, Quint, Punk, Ballade, and, of course, Wily (still up to his old tricks), who made the unfortunate decision to wake up the powerful robot Sunstar (who, as we’ll quickly discover, doesn’t exactly like taking orders).

But, as always, Mega Man is on the job. So, the world will be saved, the bad guys crushed, and Wily … escaped!

I find that the secondary weapons lack effectiveness. For this reason, I still prefer the fourth episode.

Suggested order:
Mercury > Neptune > Mars > Venus > Jupiter > Saturn > Pluto > Uranus
