A Rambo clone, armed with a machete and a pistol, decides to parachute into an Aztec temple, supposedly brimming with treasure.

The sheer hubris of the development team (or the marketing department) is staggering when you read the manual. They claim to have spent 27,000 hours designing the environments, but did no one bother to test the game?

The controls are atrocious, with a one-second input lag. It’s downright unplayable. You might not make it past the first screen, let alone see even a tenth of the painstakingly crafted backgrounds that allegedly took 27,000 hours to create!

I know there are masochists who insist the game rewards persistence and patience. To them, I’d respond the same way I do about Virus—which, at least, offered smooth animation. Here, I don’t even experience the thrill of crashing to the ground with a satisfying clatter and speed, in a glorious spray of particles…
