The sequel to Gunship not only boasts vastly improved presentation but also introduces new helicopters to fly (five to choose from, plus two hidden ones, including the iconic Apache Longbow) and the ability to command a squadron of four pilots.
The animation remains smooth, and the controls are just as challenging as ever!
Released on the CD32 in 1994 and the PlayStation in 1996, it arrived too late to capture much attention.
A PC follow-up, Gunship! (2000)—not to be confused with Gunship 2000 (oh oh oh!)—featured good graphics but disappointed longtime fans due to a lack of realism and a few nasty bugs.
