Yet another Commodore 64 title brought back to life (the original version dates back to 1987). You control a sphere in a maze spread across four floors, connected by vertical tunnels, a bit like in Wizball). Various markers on the ground react when you pass over them, some alter the weight or size of your device, others grant shields, weapons, or a points bonus. You must consider all these factors to overcome obstacles (tiles or cracked walls, ramps, etc.), avoid enemies, and find your way out.
The concept, the atmosphere, the colours, the extremely sensitive controls—everything about this game puts me off.
A modern version: Exo One (2021).
