You play as John Glames, a CIA secret agent dispatched to a South American country to recover a cutting-edge stolen military aircraft…
This contemporary adventure game offers a gripping yet painfully linear plot, a sluggish and clunky interface, minuscule items to uncover (including one conveniently hidden in a patch of seaweed, absolutely essential at the game’s finale!), absurd puzzles, dialogues straining to be funny, and maddening mini-games.
After over an hour of frustration and despair, I had no choice but to consult a walkthrough—on the very first screen, no less—to locate my passport! And why was that, you ask? Because I was frantically left-clicking through the menus when, in fact, it wanted me to right-click. A stellar start, wouldn’t you say…
Note: In the United States, the game was rebranded as The Stealth Affair, and the protagonist swapped out for one Bond … James Bond.
