Back when I first launched the site, my plan was to gather all the games I used to play as a kid on my old Amiga. Thirteen years later, I was still missing some! Peter Pan (like Project 1, which I added at the same time) is one of the last titles I’d be able to name if I had to list them all – the ones I remember the vaguest details about…

Sometimes you’re better off forgetting, right?

Peter Pan is a pseudo-educational game aimed at younger kids. The idea is to click on pictures to solve puzzles and pick up a couple of bonuses in mazes, à la Pac-Man (sorry, Pac-Man).

It ends scandalously fast and flaunts a kind of kitsch that ought to be illegal. Still, I had a good laugh for about five minutes!

If you ever get the bizarre idea to give it another go, and you find yourself stuck at the Indian level (the fourth screen), not knowing how to move the character, it’s probably because your emulator has mapped the keyboard arrow keys to the joystick. Just disable the joystick in the “Game ports” tab (“Port 2: none”).
