Pinball Dreams, along with its sequels, ranks among the benchmark pinball simulations on the Amiga. It features four beautiful and original tables, with realistic ball physics and a high-quality soundtrack. The four themes are: space (Ignition), Wild West steam trains (Steel Wheels), electronic music (Beat Box), and horror (Nightmare).
This is the first instalment in a trilogy, followed by Pinball Fantasies in 1992 and Pinball Illusions in 1995. The same year, a fourth game, Pinball Mania, was developed by a different studio, but it failed to achieve the same level of success.
