It’s quite the story, really: a game nearly finished, announced in specialised magazines, released on Super Nintendo in 1994 but not on Amiga, its original platform, probably due to the collapse of the market. It was unearthed in 2013, when a high-resolution remake was launched on PlayStation 4, Vita, PC, and other contemporary consoles. The 19-year-old Amiga version was given away for free.

It’s a nice, playable platformer, not as frantic in style as its predecessor, but rid of glaring issues like the lack of music, password options, and, most notably, the unpleasant input lag when controlling the character.

I couldn’t get it to work directly on the emulator. Had to go through a hard drive install thanks to the WHDLoad patch.

In the same style, you may try Dynamite Headdy (Sega Genesis, 1994).
