Manage a futuristic mining base while fending off extraterrestrial attacks. The general concept takes inspiration from Battlezone (arcade, 1980). You navigate a rocky planet’s surface in first-person view, moving a reticle across the screen to take down your enemies. Occasionally, a homing missile falls from the sky, and you’ll need to destroy it before it hits.

They’ve tacked on some convoluted resource collection and exchange system to this primitive shooter, making it a risky blend of action and management, if you ask me. You’d better read the instructions carefully before diving in, or you won’t have a clue.

This game is mainly known for its box art illustrations, created by Roger Dean, who worked closely with Psygnosis.
