Moktar, in the guise of Vincent Lagaf’, embarks on a quest to find his sweetheart, Zoubida. His adventures will take him from Paris to Marrakech, where he will encounter all sorts of eccentric and decidedly belligerent characters.
A bit like in The Blues Brothers, you can pick up various objects from the scenery and throw them at the bad guys. The hero is incredibly fast, which makes him difficult to control. To compensate, a curious feature has been implemented: slowing down the game by pressing a button (“ F10 ”). Bullet time ahead of the curve?
Moreover, the abundance of secret passages and the variety of levels will delight platform game enthusiasts, provided they can tolerate the considerable loading times between levels.
The American version is called Titus the Fox and stars the publisher’s mascot, but the game remains identical.
